Between 2014 and 2015, the sold production quantity of wind-powered generating sets in the EU fell from 22 200 to 8 300. From 2015 to 2023, the number varied each year between 6 800 and 12 000, before increasing to 15 500 in 2024. The EU’s sold production in 2024 was valued at €10.4 billion.
