Last week, the European Industrial Alliance on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) adopted its first Strategic Action Plan at their second General Assembly, giving an overview of its plans over the next five years to facilitate SMRs’ development, demonstration, and deployment in Europe by the early 2030.

On Monday, 7 July, Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Jørgensen travels to France to visit the Cattenom Nuclear Power Plant, hosted by the operator, the French electricity generation and distribution company EDF.
