During the first 100 days of their term, each EU Commissioner sat down with groups of young people across the EU to talk about a wide variety of topics, ranging from housing and climate to skills and health. These events are called Youth Policy Dialogues and will occur yearly.
Why does this matter?
The European Commission wants young people to have a real say in how our societies and democracies work. This is about making sure young people’s voices count in EU policies.
During the dialogues, Commissioners interacted with and listened to young people’s perspectives – what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change.
