The inaugural session of the Assembly will take place from 26 to 28 September, bringing together young members, experts, and stakeholders to focus on one of today’s most pressing environmental challenges: reversing the decline of pollinators.
Throughout the three-day event, Assembly members will begin their journey by exchanging ideas with specialists and exploring concrete solutions to safeguard biodiversity.
On Saturday, 27 September, the public is invited to follow the discussions online during the plenary sessions.
- Morning session: Participants will learn more about the Assembly’s mandate, take stock of the actions the European Union is already undertaking to address pollinator decline, and hear from a keynote speaker who will provide a global perspective on the issue.
- Afternoon high-level event: The spotlight will shift to the Assembly’s role in strengthening youth engagement and democratic innovation, while also examining how its work connects to broader efforts across EU institutions.
The event marks an important step in empowering young people to contribute to policy discussions on biodiversity and sustainability.
The plenary sessions will be streamed live on 27 September.
