This June, the 26th edition of EU Green Week will spotlight the business case for nature, demonstrating how a nature-positive economy can strengthen Europe’s prosperity, resilience and competitiveness.

Organised by European Commission Directorate-General for Environment, the high-level conference in Brussels on 3 – 4 June will feature a dynamic programme combining panel discussions, TED-style talks, cinema nights and a dedicated startup-investor matchmaking event.

Bringing together policymakers, investors, researchers, businesses, farmers and civil society, EU Green Week 2026 will highlight how research and innovation can help turn environmental ambition into concrete action and economic opportunity.

As part of this year’s programme, European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) is organising two side events focused on scaling up nature-based solutions and strengthening water resilience through research, innovation and investment.
