A new Eurobarometer survey released by the European Commission shows a growing demand for seamless travel, and especially for online booking services, which are already used by 76% of respondents.

Some 135 projects have been approved to carry out 390 reforms in EU countries in 2025. Two-thirds of the projects will address common reform needs in the EU, such as improving the quality of public administration, providing a better business environment for SMEs, or modernising energy systems.
The EU has paid a €100 million advance to Spain to help finance its recovery efforts following the October 2024 storm in Valencia in which hundreds of lives were lost and buildings destroyed. The funding can be used to restore energy, water, health, education, or telecommunications systems.
Twenty projects from 13 EU countries have been selected by the European urban initiative to test innovative green and digital solutions in cities across Europe. Projects include giving a second life to used EV batteries, and repurposing vacant public buildings for the needs of the community.
