The online launch event of the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform will take place on 16 May 2025, from 10.00-12.00 CEST. This will mark the inauguration of a new digital space designed to support stakeholders across the textiles ecosystem towards increased sustainability, digitalisation, competitiveness and resilience. Registration for the event closes today, 12 May. All stakeholders are warmly encouraged to attend.

The event will offer a guided tour through this new platform, and participants will get a sneak peek into how platform users can initiate discussions, publish articles, engage with the content, discover the right opportunities, access funding information, and network effectively. The discussion will explore how the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform can best support its members and ecosystem stakeholders.

A key highlight of the programme, the ‘Voices of the ecosystem’ session, will showcase perspectives from influential community members. Discussions will explore current trends and opportunities for collaboration to support the twin digital and green transitions, competitiveness and resilience of the ecosystem.

The European Commission published the Transition Pathway for the Textiles Ecosystem in June 2023 – a dynamic roadmap to make the textiles ecosystem greener, more digital, resilient, and competitive. To support this transformation, the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform was developed to provide stakeholders with

  • easy access to key information
  • interactive workshops and webinars
  • networking opportunities
  • peer learning experiences
  • a space to connect with other industry stakeholders

This project is led by EY in partnership with CSIL, SDA Bocconi School of Management, Blumine, and ITA Technologietransfer GmbH working directly with the European Commission.
