Category 6: Responsible and Inclusive Entrepreneurship was awarded to ADIE (France) for its “Make it legit” programme, helping informal entrepreneurs step into the formal economy through training, support, and access to finance.
This category recognises initiatives that promote corporate social responsibility and entrepreneurship among disadvantaged groups such as the unemployed, migrants, people with disabilities, and ethnic minorities.
Make it legit transforms the “invisible” issue of informal enterprise into a collective success story, combining public-private financing with tailored mentoring to create lasting opportunities.
The jury called it “a successful living lab where employment, social integration, and ecological transition work in synergy”, highlighting its ability to turn challenges into community-wide progress.
