On 5 and 6 June, the 2025 edition of the EU Industry Days  takes place in Rzeszów, Poland, with the support of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council. This Commission flagship event dedicated to supporting the EU industry will bring together key policymakers from the EU, Member States and regions and stakeholders from industry, small-and-medium-sized enterprises and start-ups, researchers, and civil society.

Executive Vice-President for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy, Stéphane Séjourné, will open the event on 5 June with a keynote speech, setting the scene for two days of discussions on key issues for the competitiveness of EU industry – from accelerating decarbonisation, circularity and clean technologies to boosting skills, research and innovation, facilitating investments, and reducing dependencies on critical raw materials. Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, will deliver a keynote speech on 6 June, focusing on scaling up Europe’s defence capabilities, as Europe strengthens its defence posture in response to ongoing security challenges.

In addition to the 7 plenary sessions, the programme will feature 25 parallel sessions organised by the Commission and stakeholders, including a panel on Single Market simplification and on the harmonisation of rules.

There will also be an exhibition showcasing  10 EU-funded projects together with 17 innovative Polish and Ukrainian companies, and a ‘Meet the Experts’ corner providing customised advice on EU funding programmes and business advisory services. A matchmaking area will be available for the duration of the event.

The event can be followed online.
