In a historic first for international expos, Expo 2025 Osaka will host a fully integrated Virtual World Expo, redefining how global audiences engage with innovation, sustainability, and cultural exchange.
From April to October 2025, millions of visitors from around the world will have access to an immersive digital experience via the Expo 2025 Osaka Virtual Platform, supported by cutting-edge VR/AR and Metaverse technologies. This revolutionary initiative, aligned with the principles of the European Green Deal, invites institutions, governments, companies, and individuals to participate without the need for physical travel.
🌍 EU Pavilion to Lead the Digital Vision
Among the virtual highlights, the European Union Pavilion will be prominently featured on the strategically located “Earth Island”—a central hub of the digital expo. The pavilion will focus on Green Digital Transformation, Smart Agriculture, and the Circular Economy, offering hybrid sessions, interactive content, and gamified tools such as the Carbon Footprint Calculator.
📣 Registrations Now Open for 11th Term Participants
Organizers have officially opened 12th Term registration, with applications accepted until June 30, 2025. Participation packages include custom virtual pavilions, visibility campaigns, hybrid session access, and technical support.
