The NEB Lab Housing is working on a comprehensive response to Europe’s housing challenges, bringing together architectural quality, sustainability, resilience and inclusion.
Date:

Coordinated by the Architects Association of Lithuania, the Architects’ Council of Europe and Kaunas University of Technology, the Lab combines spatial and urban approaches with participatory processes and community-building methods.
Its work looks at solutions ranging from adaptive reuse and renaturalisation to circular and low-carbon design, sustainable construction methods and affordable housing. Building on the recently published NEB Catalogue of Blueprints for Affordable and Resilient Homes, the Lab is now working towards further additions to the Catalogue, a compendium of methods for beautiful, inclusive and sustainable housing, and capacity-building activities across Europe.
